NARFE chapter
hears reports
from February
District meeting
The National Association of Retired
Federal Employees Chapter 1430, held
its regular meeting on March 2, at the
county courthouse in Bellville with nine
members in attendance.
After the meeting was called to order
by President Harold Remmert, all mem-
bers stood for the opening prayer by
Chaplain Marion Ruggles. followed by
the pledge of allegiance to the flag.
Secretary Elizabeth Remmert read
the minutes of the last meeting.
Treasurer Alice Remmert gave her
report.
Reports on the District 14 meeting,
that was in February, were given by a
few members that attended.
The state convention will be in April
at Tyler. Aledo Savoy will be a delegate
from this chapter.
After welcoming a new member, the
meeting adjourned with Marion
Ruggles giving a reading and prayer.
The next meeting will be April 5, at
2:30 p.m. at the courthouse in Bellville.

cost to the community. Since TCCSI operates on out-
side funding, state of the art, quality computer classes
are available to the business community as well as the
private community for a nominal fee. All classes are at
the Sealy School campus.
The current schedule offers day and evening classes.
Many businesses are taking advantage of the afternoon
classes to enhance their employees computer skills.
Some individuals are taking the classes to enhance
their use and enjoyment of their connection to the tech-
nical world.
Please call (409) 885-3516 ext. 2050 between the
hours of 8 a.m. and noon Monday through Friday, to
express your interest and sign up now. Evening classes
are from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., typically two nights a
week, for two weeks.
Professional development classes are in the after-
noon from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m., typically three days in a
row. A representative can find the class that is just
right for you and your computer needs.
