It took the Tigers a little while
to gather themselves on
Monday night, but their team
quickness came through to run
away with a 67-51 win over
Hallettsville in Sealy.
“I’m really proud of the way
our guys got after them on
defense,” stated Sealy Head
Coach Grant Long. “We showed
a lot of quickness and unselfish
play that resulted in some easy
baskets. This was a good win for
us.”
The Tigers got off to a slow
start and trailed 10-13 at the
end of the first period, but the
defensive pressure picked up
nicely in the second quarter.
Marcus Watson got a steal and a
basket and then tied the score
at 13 with a free throw.

etrate the Hallettsville defense
