The ribald, impudent,
but always moving
account of the encounter
between a girt-of-
the-streets in a Grecian
seaport town...
and te American
who wants to rescue
her from her desperate
(or is it?)
situation...
The price is the only sensation. It is due to making
only ONE type sandwich. It is due to a very small profit
and very large volume. We shall keep the price this low
« long as possible.

I have no quarrel with men who ask more for their
hamburger or none with men who ask less. I have only
to say that after many years of making hamburgers, our
Johnnie's Big Luscious Hamburger is the best I know.
Better materials are impossible, better workmanship
out of the question, better methods or devices, if they
exist, are still unknown to me.
More skill or quality is beyond my capability. At twice
the price I could make no better hamburger. If others
can, they are better men than I.
