Standards dept, swelling beyond capacity
of its quarters in Office 8 and Elmer Davis,
Mary Hoffman and Lydia Freeman, clerks,
are moving up to Office 3 temporarily.

Salvador was flying air mail yesterday and
today to and from Peoria in celebration of
20th anniversary of air mail inauguration.
With 328 students enrolled, Mathematics
Professor John Harder started his question-
naire course Wednesday. Harry Andrews is
assistant prof.Warford Green is back in the drafting
dept. from Nyack Missionary Training School
with a new car and engaged to a girl from
Kis Lyn, Penn.
Opening soft ball season, Al Losch's Weld-
ers were playing Commercial Nat'l Bank &
Heinie Blome's Blues were playing Armours
at Glen Oak park last nite.
Hattie Iverson, production dept., leaving
June 1 for two weeks' vacation.
Nite production on G6s discontinues to-
night and Foreman Harry Watkins transferred
to days in place of Maurice Foote who goes
to standards for 60 days' training.
Bill Plunkett, nites, adds aprons, yokes and
tailgates to his dept.
Cleaning and painting of Angledozers now
transferred to Angledozer dept., and Bill Dob-
son assisting Owen Scarlett in supervision.
Nite punch crew transferred to days.
Frank Giuffra, day inspector, left Saturday
for Los Angeles due to illness of wife'.s father.
Wm. Harrison transferred back from load-
ing dept. to loading inspector.
Ernie Reichert from nite wheels to nite tail-
gates. .
Stanley Means leaving for a month or six
weeks in Washington, D. C.
Paul King enroute to Bombay, Cap Miller
in Sweden, George Glenn in Calgary, Jim
Albright in Quebec, Louis Gonzalez has ar-
rived in Columbia.
Export dept. has sold three 40-foot Cranes
this month and expects to sell a fourth one.
Willard Martz, credit dept., is to be mar-
ried June 4 in Alliance Tabernacle, Chicago,
to Jean Sawallisch.
Roy Kinnamon, nite painting and cleaning
supervisor, goes on vacation next week.

bound in book form at cost of binding, $1.60,
