000 copies of our new 1941 Condensed Equip-
ment Catalog are off the press. It tells the com-
plete story of LeTourneau equipment-what it
is and what it does. That it is making a "hit"
with dealers is evidenced by the demands-
80,000 copies are already on order. A Spanish
printing is also in process.

Vic Nafziger, Small Parts, married Lou Belle
Rupp of Normal, Illinois, Feb. 1.
Paul Cundiff, parts shipping days, has been
transferred to nights; replaced by Lyman Holler,
nights, who has been transferred to days.
Auto belonging to Norman Kelley, transpor-
tation, which was stolen from in front of plant
December 31 was found south of St. Louis, Mo.,
on January 23.
Steve Cravens, control room 103 R, is leaving
for a 2-week Florida vacation Feb. 9.
Serviceman E. R. Palmer, who works out of
the Stockton Service office, is spending a few
days at Peoria plant prior to driving new weld-
ing truck back.We are sorry to learn of the death of our
dealer in St. Louis, John Fabick on January 27.
Funeral was attended by Denn Burgess and
Howard Stilley.
Ken Park is back on the job after a few days
vacation with the "flu".
Shop meetings Wednesday, Feb. 12, noon &
nite will be in charge of the Kings Messengers
Quartet . .. don't miss 'em!
Personnel dept. announces that boxes are be-
ing placed around the shop through which cop-
ies of our publication "Methods" will be made
available to employees. Other pieces of adver-
tising literature will also be placed in the boxes
from time to time.
Export dept. announces that Sales Supervisor
Geo. Summers is now in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Plate Cutter H. Barnett topped the Standards
list week ending Jan. 25 with 1210 prem. units.
Cutting was most improved; average premium
for shop was $5.02.

Visitor to plant: Mr. E. C. Aldridge, Vice Pres-
ident of Mississippi Tractor and Eq. Co.
C. F. Zimmerman & Carsten Grupe accom-
panied Howard Stilley to Wilmington, III., Feb.
1 where they conducted a short Service meeting
on the care and operation of Carryalls and
PCU's. The meeting was held at the branch of-
fice of Patten Tractor & Equipment Co., located
on the site of the new national defense project.
About 50 operators attended.

Standards Standings-week ending 1-25-41:
high man-Roy Smith No. 64, day cutter with
818 Premium Units. Most improved department
-night presses under supervision of Hubert
Sanders. Remaining in High Dept. is Pierce
Short and his "Shiner-Uppers".
We are very sorry to learn of the death of
Cleve Bennett's father. Cleve works in our ma-
chine shop.
Toy Wheeler, Bull gang Sub-Foreman, is back
after a month's illness.
Allison Winters promoted to sub-foreman,
Nite Press Department.
Joe Malik is rather proud since a new camo-
graph will be in soon.
More pavement is being put down around
our office building to provide more spacious and
better parking facilities.
A ferry has been built in our Experimental &
Jig Department and is now being used to trans-
port the machinist school apprentices to and
from work across Lake Louise.
Simon Pell, Machinist School, answered the
call to arms this month when the Army blew
reveille for his draft number.
