Herbert Young holds a position
pought by most every red-blooded
lad—that of mascot for a big league
baseball team. He is w.h the
Washington club. But as though
this were not fame enough, Herbert
now boasts of a big league base-
ball autographed by President
Harding. The president wrote his
name on it when the boy called at
the White House. The ball also
bears the signatures of the mem-
bers of the Washington team.

Mr. Gray states that "no State funds
