Berges Fest Beauty Pageant Entry
Anyone interested in sponsoring a girl in the Miss Berges Fest
Pageant on June 15, 1977, is asked to fill out this entry blank and
send to Mrs. June Williams, Box 517, Boerne, Texas 78006.
A girl is not eligible if she is presently a senior because Miss
Berges Fest 1977 needs to be in Boerne during the year of her
reign.

SCHOOL and GRADE (Sept. 77) ...........................
Girls must be 15 years of age or older. They must be from our
school system (including St. Albert’s Hall) since this is not a county
festival.
The girls will meet at the Trophy Room of the Antler’s
Restaurant at 3 P.M. on Wednesday, June 15, in sportswear or
casual dress. At this time, they will meet the judges individually
and have the first round of judging. At 8:00, they will meet at the
river and be taken on boats for the final part of the judging in
German type costumes. (Things will be done a little differently this
year and we hope that all of our contestants will have a great
time!)
Sponsors are responsible for a $5.00 entrance fee (to be mailed
with application) and to supply a decorated car at the Berges Fest
parade on Saturday, June 18, 1977.
If your girl is selected the new Miss Berges Fest, Princess, or
Duchess or Miss Congenially, cars will be provided.
We must make clear that if a girl is picked Miss Berges Fest, she
wiH be expected to go to numerous parades to represent the
Festival. (A car has been donated to build our float on, and we are
planning in that direction.)
Miss Berges Fest may not compete for any other titles until her
reign as Miss Berges Fest is completed in June, 1978.
