nesday, November 13, 1991 in
St. Peter’s Episcopal Church
with the Rev. Alan Conley offi-
ciating.
Born March 10, 1925, in Leia
Lake, Texas near Electra, he
had been a Kerrville resident
since 1951.
When he wasn’t raising cattle,
drilling for oil or hanging out
with former Luckenbach mayor
Hondo Crouch, he was drawing
“Cowpokes,” a weekly self-syn-
dicated cartoon.
At one time his cartoon ran in
more than 400 newspapers
across Texas, including the Hou-
ston Chronicle, Fort Worth Star-
Telegram and San Antonio Ex-
press-News.

(l.-r.) Lacrecia Bullard began her 10th year with the Dell City
School this semester. This is Lacrecia’s 2nd year working in Special
Education. She is the daughter of former Dell City residents, George
and Dora Mae Bullard. She is married to Steve Bramblett, son of
County Clerk, Pat Bramblett. They live and work on the Wilson
Bennett Ranch west of Dell City. Lacrecia and Steve have two
daughters, Misty, 10th grade, and Jamie, 8th grade.
Kathy Rubio is beginning her 11th year this year with the Dell
City School. Her duties are working with Chapter 1, Junior High
and Elementary students. She is married to Celso Rubio who works
for the Highway Department. They have three children — Celso, Jr.,
who lives in Wichita Falls, Texas, Michelle Campos of El Paso,
and Rachel who is in the 11th grade
Jenny Robles is working with the Special Education Program with
both Elementary and High School students. This is Jenny’s first
year at Dell City. She is married to Dell City’s Football Coach,
Tony Robles. They have 4 children — Nancy at Community Col-
lege, El Paso, Suzanne, Sophomore at Dell City, and twins, Tony
and Samantha who are in the 3rd grade.
