TO OUR GOOD FRIENDS AND CUSTOMERS.
We want to thank you for the continued increase in business
we have enjoyed. When we first went into business, many
persons were skeptical; they did not believe that gasoline and
oil products manufactured independent of the Major Compa-
nies were as good as the brands featured by them.
THIS SEEMED A LOGICAL CONCLUSION
But the test of results, under every possible condition, has
proven to an increasing number of people that there wasn’t
any difference—that the same mileage could be had from gas—
the same satisfactory results from lubrication, and the
MANY, MANY DOLLARS SAVED
COULD BE PUT IN THEIR OWN POCKET, AND USED TO
BUY OTHER NEEDED THINGS.
ASK ANYONE WHO HAS USED OUR PRODUCT EXCLU-
SIVELY—THEIR EXPERIENCE IS OUR BEST ADVERTIS-
MENT.
We would like to have you make the test yourself, and prove
to your satisfaction facts that are important to your purse.
TRY OUR GOOD GREASE AND WASH JOB.

his business; everybody associated
with this shop are good workmen, and
are popular personally with Elgin
people. Not only is his shop a social
center, where business and political
matters are discussed, but it is a
serious business establishment, where
good work is turned out, and where
pleased patrons really enjoy them-
selves while tonsorial requirements
are taken care of. Arbuckle’s bar-
ber shop is right in the center of
everything, and they certainly ap-
preciate your business. -

EVERY AUTO ACCESSORY AT
WESTERN AUTO ASSOCIATE
STORE.
This is not a chain store, but is a
home owned business, operated on
a scale to sell standard auto acces-
sories, and other merchandise items,
at a price far below those ordinarily
current.
This company has standardized
prices, and now, when it becomes ne-
cessary to make a purchase in their
line, you instinctively know that you
are getting your money’s worth—
in fact, at the very lowest possible
price. Naturally the response has
been overwhelming, and the West-
ern Auto Associate Store is one of
the most popular businesses in the
city.
Mr. R. M. Kiecke is the proprietor.
He is a splendid fellow, and he is an-
xious to get acquainted with every-
body in this whole four county area.
He wants to be your personal friend,
and he wants you to know that he is
selling standard merchandise at real
money saving prices.
Mr. Kiecke sells radios, tires bi-
cycles, and many other larger items—
and really specializes in good batter-
ies. He extends credit terms on lar-
ger purchases, to responsible parties,
ARBUCKLES BARBER SHOP
Mr. O.' E. Arbuckle operates this
business, and he is a whale of a fine
fellow, civic minded, and continually
working for the interest of Elgin
and this section. At this time he is
one of the City Fathers, and in that
capacity has acted as Street Com-
missioner, supervising improvements
and extensions to our city streets.
A great deal of work just completed
is evidence of his ability, and it was
done at minimum cost and with com-
plete efficiency. Getting back to
