men, with work of the Sixth Te-
xas District and the sessions of
the U. S. Congress, Congress-
men Olin E. Teague will be ev-
en busier, a look at his assign-
ments for the 93fd Congress re-
veals.
He will become chairman of
* the Science and Astronautics
Committee.
Teegue was reelected unani-
mously as chairman of the De-
mocratic Caucus, placing him
third in the Democratic leader-
'ship and was elected by the cau-
■ cus unanimously to represent
then on the National Democra-
.tic Committee.
He was elected to serve on the
. Committee on Committees, whi-
ch means he will participate in
the assignment of all democra-
tic members to committee as-
signments.
A new Technological Assess-
ment Board has been created,
and Teague has been appointed
to this board.
In addition, he will be ranking
member on the Veterans Affairs
Committee.
In spite of his busy schedule
here, Cong. Teague said he in-
tends to visit his district gs
much as possible on weekends.
