the Livingston families was
here Sunday for the birthday
of Mrs. Ann Bauldwin and some
remained due to the serious
illpess of Mrs. J. H. Livingston,
who is a patient in Memorial
Hospital, Cleburne.
Visiting in the Livingston
home Sunday were Mr. and Mrs.
Buddy Smith and Patti of Carls-
bad, New Mexico, Mr. and Mrs.
Smitty Smith and two children ,
Mrs. Neil Wilson of Itasca, Mr.
and Mrs. Leroy Livingston, Mr.
and Mrs. Charlie Livingston
and Bob Wilson of Fort Worth.
Mrs. Mary Seymour of Portu-
guese Bend, California arrived
Monday to attend her mother.

GRANDVIEW 4-H
CLUB NEWS
The Grandview 4-H Club
met Tuesday night at the Com-
munity Center. The meeting
was opened with a Method Dem-
onstration on Parliamentary
Procedure given by Robin
Gaston, David Stout, Corky
Hampton, Laurie Stout and Joe
Baker. Roll call was answered
by giving the name of your
favorite candy.
It was announced that only
four members, Laurie Stout,
Glenn Lubke, Ann Wilkirson
and David Stout had 4-H en-
tries in the Junior Livestock
Show held March 30 and 31 in
Cleburne. Ann’s heifer, Cry-
Baby, won Grand Champion
Homed Hereford Heifer. Glenn
won second place in breeding
sheep with his Southdown ewe
lamb and 5th place with his
Hereford-Angus steer, which
sold for 65c a pound. Laurie
won 5th place with her Duroc
gilt in breeding swine. We are
extremely proud of these mem-
bers, and hope that our club
will be even better represented
next year.
The next meeting of the club
will consist of a wienie-roast
to be held on Saturday, May 12
at 7:30 p.m. at the Stout farm
.northeast of town. Members
who need a ride to and from ..
the party wil meet at the Com-
munity Center at 7:00 and be
taken to the party. There will
also be rides home for anyone
who needs one. All parents
who would like to attend will
be welcome.
Be sure to keep that Sat-
urday open, as that will be our
last meeting until September.
There will be plenty to eat
aid drink and lots of fun and
games. See you there!
