tered four teams in the Area
VIII judging contest held at
Tarleton State University,
Saturday, April 5. The live-
stock team whose members
were Billy Don Smith, Mark
Williams, John Wikkirson and
Tony Tackett, placed first in
the contest. Mark Williams
was the high point individual
of the livestock contest. This
entitled him to\a 50 dollar
scholarship to this University.
The poultry judging team
whose members were Richard
Tackett, Hoby Hughes, Jeff
Moore and Scott Hollimon,
placed third in the contest.
Hoby Hughes was the 5th
high point individual of the
poultry contest. The dairy
predicts judging team placed
sixth in the contest. Members
were Joe Welsh, Ross Garton
and Reggi Sain.
The Dairy cattle judging
team placed eleventh in"the
contest. Members of this team "
