We had a good
Saturday this last
week. We had several
shippers from Grand-
view which included;
- Circle C Dairy, Ronnie
Doss, D. R. Allen,
Clyde Nivens, Betty
Jacobs, and A. E.
Harris.
The market was very
good with about 400
head of cattle and alot
of people in the Sale '
Barn.
Last week was busy
for us, we shipped
cattle in 6 different
places in the country
then had loads going ।
out of the order buying
pens every day.
Baby calves went for
$52 to $130 per head.
Light weight stocker
calves weighing 100 to
150 pounds went for
$115 t o $150 per
head. Calves weighing
150 to 200 went for
$165 to $188 per head.
Light weight heifers
weighing 300 to 425
pounds -went for $.59
to $.65 per pound.
Steer calves weighing
300 to 375 pounds
went for $.76 to $.88
per pound. Steers
weighing 600 to 700
pounds went for $.68
to $.74 per pound.
Packer cows brought
$.38 to $.44 per pound
Packer bulls brought,
$.45 to $.49 per pound.
Good springer cows
brought $410 to $530
per head. Pairs brought
$455 to $730 per pair
depending on age and
quality.
