County Commissioners Court
Monday, Feb. 13. Mr. Carroll
presented four proposed
changes for the 1978-79 hunt-
ing, fishing and trapping regu-
lations:
1( That the definition of
“buck deer” be changed to
“having profusion through the
skin.”
2) A spring turkey gobbler
season.
3) Deer archery season.
4) No more than 100 hooks to
a trotline or 50 hooks per
trotline for 2 trotlines.
The Department will be hold-
ing a public hearing for the
purpose of considering the
regulations on March 13, 7:00
p.m., at Herff Park. Citizens
are invited to exercise their
right to comment on the
proposed changes at the
hearing.
