#25 will hold their regular
yearly membership barbecue
Saturday, September 9th at 6
o’clock sharp at the Balcones
Community Center. The lodge
will furnish the meat and
drinks. You bring a covered
dish of your choice. Our regular
monthly lodge meeting will
follow the meal.
A cash door prize, for both a
man and a woman, is given at
every monthly meeting. Hope
to see all of you.

The annual membership meet-
ing and barbeque dinner at the
Boerne Turn Verein was held
Saturday, August 19 and was
well attended. Pres. Douglas
Patton conducted the meeting.
There were two new board of
directors elected to replace the
two outgoing directors who
were Hilmar Knoll and Douglas
Patton. Hilmar had served with
the board of directors for 11
years and Douglas for 9. Pre-
sentation of plaques were made
to the outgoing directors in
appreciation for their out-
standing leadership and faithful
service over the years. They
both expressed their sincere
thanks to the members.
Two new directors elected to
serve for a 3 year term were
Gilbert Pfeiffer and Tom
Abadie. On Aug. 24 the board
of directors elected Beverly
Edge as their new president of
the club. Holdover directors are
Albert (Bert) Racer, Judy
Collins, Beverly Edge, Robert
(Bob) Moreau, and Bruce
Pfeiffer. Viola (Olie) Zoeller is
secretary for the Boerne Turn
Verein and Marvin and Bonnie
Coats manage the club.
