varsity basketball team took
their third trophy in as many
tournaments as they captured
third place in the Boerne

within a whisker of capturing

The girls started out strong
as they poured it on the San
Marcos JV by a 58 to 35 count.
The girls played aggressive
basketball and were led in
scoring by September Stewert

9 The Hounds played Burnet
J for the consolation trophy in
4 the third game and never led

7 final score was 49 to 39, with
J Dean Lammert getting 15

Hounds hit only 17 of 30 free
J throws and this along with a

9 their downfall.
The Hounds take on Marble
t Falls and Burnet this week be-
7 fore breaking for the holidays,
