the West Texas Chamber of Com-
merce are completing their work
and turning in the cards rapidly,
according to Mrs. W. R. Hicks, chair-
man, and those who have not com-
pleted their rounds are asked to do
so as soon as possible and turn-in
the remainder before May 24, when
judging of the districts will begin.
Each district chairman is asked to
select two or three judges for her
district who are to visit all the
places listed in the district between
May 24 and June 1. The names of
winners in each district will be turn-
ed over to a central committee yet
to be named, who will begin the gen-
eral judging June r Residents who
have signed the cards may be get-
ting their lawns mowed and their
grounds in the best condition pos-
sible by next week, so that they will
have a good chance at the various
prizes of shrubs offered in the sei-
eral classes of homes, Mrs. Hicks
said.
