GREENVILLE, March 26—
Royce M. Plyler, 36, co-owner of
the Republic Truck Line operating
between Dallas and Shreveport, La.
was killed today near Picton when
his truck struck a bridge and
overturned. .
Funeral services for T. B. sul-
lard, who died Wednesday of a
heart attack, were held Tursday
afternoon in the First Christian
Church, conducted by the pastor,
Rev. R. R. Yelderman. The choir
sang "What a Friend We Have
in Jesus" and "The Old Rugged
Cross." A solo, "When They Ring
Those Golden Bells," was sung by
Miss Nell Taylor.
Burfal was in the I. O. O. F.
cemetery, and active pallbearers

vances with October at 10.21, Decem-

By noon the volume of business
was back to the small proportions of
earlier sessions this week, although
options were holding their initial
gains.
May sold at 11.16. July at 10.78. Oc-
tober at 10.33 and December at 10.17.

points advance in aesponse to higher
Liverpool cablee and on trade buying

Trading was moderately acUve at
the start and the market held
steady after the call with May sell-
ing up to 1123, or about 13 points
net higher and approximately 61 a
bale above the price ruling when
dealings in March ended at noon
Wednesday.
Business was meetly in the near
months and there was considerable
switching from May to later deliv-
eries. The general list abowed net
gains of 7 to 13 points at the end
of the nrst hour.
The market was quieter late in the
morning but offerings were compar-
atively light and prices held generally
firm. The trade continued to buy
near months with May selling at 11.-
34, or 13 points net higher, while
October at 10.35, showed a net ad-
vance of 6 points at mid-day
Futures closed steady, 14 higher to
3 lower. Spot steady: middling 11.64.
