"Through this work I met a man
Who now means a great deal to me.
So much, in fact, that I am consid-
ering divorcing my husband in or-
der to marry him He is urging me
to do it. - '
"I have two children, both under
10. My husband is a nice fellow. and
has always treated us as well as he
could under the circumstances,, but
I have drifted away from him.
Whether he has found a congenial
companion or not I don't know. We
se each other very seldom but
write each other weekly or oftener.
He is devoted to the children I
don't feel like being a 'grass widow'
all my life, and I see no prospect
of anything else.
“I could be so happy with this
other man' He seems fond of the
children and has promised to do ev-
erything for them— more than their
own father could. I am in my early
thirties and feel that I must pro-
vide as best I can tor myself and
for my children'.' Besides. I really
love this man and want to marry
him. Do you think it very wrong of
me?—F. B. O.”
I think it is most inconsiderate of
your husband and most unkind.
Your position is not an enviable'
one. and I can realize that you are 1
tempted; but I hope not beyond .
your strength.
YoU must think of your children,'
and you certainly should think of
your husband. You say Jie has done
everything'he possibly can for you
and for the children. What more I
could you or do you expect? |
Should Join Husband
The solution of your problem
seems very simple to me although
you may have withheld some of the
details
since 11 seems possible lor you '
to get stenographic work at home,
why not move to where your hus-
band is chained to hi Job and take ‘
a chance on being able to do typing
there? Obviously it would not cost
as much to keep your family under
one roof as it does to keep them un-

A wife's place is with her hus-
band. Beng separated, especially’ at
your age, is a dangerous thing. You
see what a situation has already
been created. I think you should
write, or talk with your husband
Explain to him how you feel; that
yotr hate tfvtng atone, as you are
forced to do, and that you feel such
a situation might seriously entan-
gle your lives. I see no earthly rea- .
son for it, and suggest that you try

Chances are that the other man will

it would be inflicting a consider-

Every little girl who wears Cinderella frocks is sure of on
"A" for looks! These charming dresses hove that special sort
of smartness which comes from fine fabrics, carefully harmon-
ized colors, and exquisite touches of hand finishing. Mothers
appreciate the wide hems, French Moms, and Ivory-tested
materials which keep Cinderella frocks new-looking through
a long life of tubbings and hard wear.
