What can the quins be up to now? It must be something mighty important, for all’of them have left their
outdoor games to cluster about Dr. Dafee. Can you guess? Why, they’re writing to Santa Clause, of course!
Annette, center, has taken the pencil from Dr Dafoe to ask for many things times live. From a good
vantage point on Dr. Dafoes knee. Emilie looks on. At the left Cecile and Marie press in close for details.
At the extreme right Yvonne stands ready to add her word, too. Santa'll certainly have to fill his pack to
the brim when he visits the quintuplets' nursery!

This arresting fact is one of the
first lessons the woman who goes
to work really learns. She may
have been brought up in a home
in which there is distrust of the
woman sometimes referred to as
an "omce wife.” or she may have
been brought up in a household
which believes that all women
who work are downtrodden crea-
tures who know nothing at all of
the fine art of being a woman.
The girl who makes her debut in

She has written a clever title (
book in which she explains how ,
this can be done. Toward the,
end she says:
“In business women s desired I

which continue woman's ancient

cushion against which masculine
bluntness may strike harmlessly.
