39 Denton school census was an-
nounced today, and school authori-
ties urged that all patrons cooper-
ate with the census taker so he may
list every child. between six and
18 years of age, living in the city
limits as of Sept. 1.
They pointed out part of the
school revenue is derived from the
scholastics living in the district. If
■ the census taker does not visit the
home during March, the authori-
ties asked the parents to notify

RODESSA, La, Feb 18—(,— Bd-
die HUI, 20-year-old oil field work-
er who dashed from his hotel room
Into the area leveled by the twist-
er that struck this north Louisiana
boom town late last night, emerged
from the splintered wreckage early
today with a vivid story of the dis-
aster.
"I was sitting in my room at the
Sliverwood hotel a few minutes be-
fore 10 o'clock last night," he said
"My wife and I had been discussing
the rain and thunder storm. Sud-
denly we heard a terrific roar. It
sounded like a, huge freight train
rumbling through the center at
town.
"The notoe lasted about two min-
utes. Then it was very quiet. We
rushed from the room and sped
down to Supply Street where most
at the damage seemed to have been
done.
"There was plenty of confusion.
People were running about wildly
and some asked what had happen-
