each side of the cake was a
candelabra filled with match-
ing bridal flowers.

Dancing followed the dinner
and reception, with music by

until the bridal couple left for
their wedding trip.

The young couple spent their
honeymoon in Honolulu, Ha-
waii, and upon their return are
at home in the Greenbriar
Apartments, 2001 Avenue F.,

The bride is a 1974 graduate
of El Campo High School and
will attend Wharton County
Junior College this Ml where
she will farther her career in
home economics, home decor-
ating. and bookkeeping. Until
recently she was employed at
the Home Lumber Company.
The groom is a 1973
graduate of El Campo High
School and attended Wharton
County Junior College. He is
presently engaged in rice
farming.
Mrs. Bode is the former Toni
Regenbrecht of Sealy. The
bride is the granddaughter of
Leander Regenbrecht of Sealy
and the niece of Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Hinze, Sr., of Sealy.
REHEARSAL DINNER
Mr. and Mrs. Melvyn Clark,
parents of the groom, hosted
the rehearsal supper at the
Magnolia Tea Room in Bl
Campo, on Friday evening.
August 9, immediately follow-
ing the wedding rehearsal that
was held at 7:00 p.m.
Champagne toasts were
made, after which a dinner of
baked ham, rice, honey-
buttered carrots, peas, grape-
fruit and avocado salad, hot
rolls, and ice eream Tahitian
The T-shaped table held an
arrangement of pink, aqua and
white bridal flowers, with pink
candles in miniature brandy
snifters placed along the entire
length of the table. Individual
place cards seated the wedding
party and guests.
The bride and groom
exchanged gifts and presented
gifts to their attendants.
