For TB Patients
An early "Santa signal" has
gone out from the San Antonio
Chest Hospital to gather
Christmas gifts for tuberculosis
patients from the twelve-county
area served by the San Antonio
Lung Association.
“We attempt to provide each
patient with at least two gifts
during the Christmas Season",
explained Mrs. Margaret
Jenkins, Chairman of the
hospital’s Volunteer Service
Council. "Gifts of money are
also welcome and will be used
where the need is greatest."
A suggested list includes
such items for adults as
toiletries, undergarments, jew-
elry and scarves, sewing kits
and stationery, candy and gum,
and puzzles and games. «
Gifts should be unwrapped
and a cost list included, as all
contributions are tax deducti-
ble. Those wanting to help in
this cause should contact Mrs.
Frances Brown at the Christ-
mas Seal Agency, P. O. Box
1 3584, Houston, Texas 77019.

star attraction at that first Thanksgiving
dinner. Thanks were given to God for a
harvest that meant the continuance of
