Miracle
By Neil Bodden
When you spin yourself ’round
and your feet leave the ground
• What a miracle! It’s a miracle!
With the blink of an eye
see the color of sky
What a miracle! It’s a miracle!
All the sights and the sounds
and the smells all around
leave you breathless
and eager for more.
You’re young and you feel
like your luck is unreal
and you’re ready for
whatever life has in store.
When you hear yourself speak
and an echo repeats
What a miracle! It’s a miracle!
When you laugh or you sing
that’s when music starts to ring
It’s a miracle! Life’s a miracle!
It’s a magical, lyrical,
somewhat ethereal miracle!

in the day, Dot Morrison of the
Lazy M. Ranch at Columbus
arrived to spend the afternoon
with her sister. Dot and her
husband, Howard, have recently
returned from a long visit to the
Hawaiian Islands, and will be
leaving shortly on a long trip to
Michigan’s Upper Penninsula to
visit Howard’s family. Well, little
sister, it will be a lonely summer
without you, that’s for sure!
Vela Jackson has offered an
interesting article, written by her
pastor. I am including it in the
hope that some of our readers will
enjoy it as much as I did.
I Am Going To Plant A
Spring Garden...
First: I will plant three rows of
peas:
Perserverance
Politeness
Prayer
Next to these I will plant three
rows of squash:
Squash gossip
Squash selfishness
Squash indifference
Then three rows of lettuce:
Let us be loyal
Let us be truthful
Let us love one another.
And no garden is complete with
out turnips:
Turn up for work
Turn up for church
Turn up with a smile.
Wouldn’t this world be more
like the Garden of Eden if we all
planted seeds like these? Lord,
lend me your trowel! Amen to
that! Thanks, Veto! We needed
that!
The April birthday party-
luncheon was held at the
Recreation Center on Monday,
April 29. A lovely luncheon was
served, the usual cake was served,
and happy birthday was sung.
Helen Ankenbruck was the only
honoree attending. Those who
had birthdays in April but did not
atttend, we wish to say we also
hope they enjoyed a lovely day.
There were 18 folks attending the
luncheon.

The Kubota G4200HST lawn and garden tractor has a hydrostatic
transmission that gives you shiftless maneuverability. Just one foot
pedal changes from forward to reverse, and back again.
The low maintenance 12 hp diesel engine will fasta long time and
give you good fuel economy. Standard on these tractors is Ove front
PTO, shaft drive to the mower, and a comfortable adjustable seat.
The ease of operation will make lots of chores easier, with other
implements and attachments such as snowblower, blade, or tiller.
