and Irene Neshyba of Corvalis,

Frank, and his wife, Albine, and
brother-in-law, Henry Koym.
Mrs. Petrusek, the wife of the
late Frank Petrusek. reached her
90th birthday on April 18.

sister-in-law, Mr. and Mn. Joe
and Emil Martinez, all grandsons. ■

2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, at
St. Mary’s Catholic Church in
High Hill. Burial followed in

Gabriel Bargas, Edward Davila,
Daniel Elizondo, John Elizondo,
recipients of Alpha State
scholarships. Mrs. Olney will
begin working oa a Master's
Degree this summer. Mrs.
Grawunder will continue in the
area of learning disabilities.
The Caldwell members served
as hostesses for the luncheon

Mrs. Petrusek, a former
member of the First United
Presbyterian Church of Sealy,
was honored during the worship
service here that morning, and
was pinned with a spring corsage
during the introduction of her
family members who were in at-
tendance for the service. She was
a former member of the Wallis
Presbyterian Church before
coming to the local church, and
has recently transferred her
membership to Beaumont where
she resides with her son-in-law
and daughter, Johnnie and Ruth
Jurik. A formal presentation of
Mrs. Petrusek was done during
the service and a brief reception in
the newly redecorated fellowship
hall followed the worship hour.
A variety of refreshments
brought together by guests was
shared after “Aunt Janie” blew
out the candles on the pink
decorated birthday cake which
was made by her granddaughter,
Gayle Robbins of Houston,
during the afternoon party.
Members of her immediate
family in attendance were Ben
and Minnie Petrusek of Metairie,
Louisiana; Erwin and Betty Pe-
trusek of Fort Lauderdale, Flori-
da; and Ruth and Johnnie Jurik
of Beaumont. Abo present were
her sisters, Mrs. Ollie Browne and
Mrs. Emma Wasicek of Sealy.
