ployed as a cashier for Fishermans
Market in Longview. She attended
Carthage schools and was a 1990
graduate of Carthage High School.
Mrs. Cassity is survived by her
parents, Autry and Carolyn Bel-
lamy of Carthage; one son, Klayton
Cassity of Carthage; one brother,
Randy Bellamy of Carthage; two
sisters, Alisa Mullhaul of Antioch,
Calif., and Susan Bellamy of Cen-
ter; maternal grandparents, Doug
and Jean Hayden of Carthage; nu-
merous aunts, uncles and cousis,
Mrs. Cassity was the granddaughter
of the late Willie Goodman, Kath-
lene and C.E. Luin, and J.T. Bel-
lamy.
Pallbearers were Jerry Wayne
Anderson, Derin Wilkerson, Todd
Kirkland,. Mark Browning, Danny
Kirkland and Heath Nutt.

Mrs. Pool is survived by her two
sons, Frank Pool of Austin, and Dr
Brian Pool of Lufkin; four daugh-
ters, Charlotte Weller of Salina,
Calif., Janet Brock of Rusk, Beth
Cooley and Cecilia Pool, both of
Gladewater; one sister, Eleanor
McBeth of Canton, Miss.; 13
grandchildren.
The family will receive friends
at the funeral home following the
Rosary service.
Memorial donations may be
made to St Mary's School of
Longview.

Bom on Dec. 28, 1951 in
Shreveport, La., he was the son of
W.C. and Melva Joyce Walker
Powell. Mr. Powell spent his early
childhood in Deadwood, and at-
tended school in Galveston and
graduated from Santa Fe High
School. After graduation, he joined
the United States Navy serving dur-
ing the Vietnam era. Mr. Powell
was a member of the First Baptist
Church of Alta Loma and a con-
struction worker.
Mr. Powell is survived by his
parents, W.C. and Melva Powell of
Santa Fe; one brother, Randall
Kevin Powell of Santa Fe; three
sisters, Debra Karen Morris of
Kemah, Texas, Donna Ann Curry
of Timpson, and Cherly Bass Pow-
ell of Dickinson, Texas; his grand-
mother, Mrs. Annie Walker of Lo-
gansport, La.; one niece and four
nephews; a number of aunts, uncles

Funeral services for Mr. James
Leonard Baillargeon, 50, of Tenaha
will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday,
Dec. 14, 1994 at St William’s
Catholic Church in Carthage. The
Rev. Ben Smylie will officiate. Ar-
rangements will be under the di-
rection of Jimerson Funeral Home
of Carthage. Interment will follow
in Jimerson's Restland Memorial
Park Cemetery. Mr. Baillargeon
died Saturday morning, Dec. 10 in
an automobile accident north of
Beckville on Highway 149.
Born on Feb. 2, 1944 in Lake
Linden, Michigan, he was the son
of Leo and Dorothy Beaudoiu
Baillargeon. Mr. Baillargeon was
an electrician with Texas Utilities
and a resident of Shelby County
since 1977, moving there from
Michigan. He was a member of the
Catholic Faith and worshiped at St.
William's Catholic Church in
Carthage. Mr. Baillargeon was pre-
ceded in death by a brother, Leon
Baillargeon.
Mr. Baillargeon is survived by
his wife, Mrs. Geneva Baillargeon
MRS. LULA HENRY
1904-1994
Funeral services for Mrs. Lula
Henry, 90, of the Galloway Com-
munity in Panola County will be
held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13,
1994 at Hawthorn Funeral Home
Chapel in Carthage. The Rev.
Mervin Scott will officiate. Inter-
ment will follow in the Adams
Cemetery in the Logan Commu-
nity. Mrs. Henry died of natural
causes Monday, Dec. 12 in
Carthage.
Bom on Jan. 19, 1904 in Panola
County, she was the daughter of
W.J. and Martha Jane Harrison
Barnett. Mrs. Henry had lived in
Panola County most of her life, and
was a member of the Galloway
United Methodist Church. She was
also a member of the Order of the
Eastern Star and a retired owner of
a grocery store in the Galloway
Community. Mrs. Henry was pre-
ceded in death by her husband,
W.E. Henry, who died on Dec. 29,
1959.
Mrs. Henry is survived by a
number of nieces and nephews.
The body will be in slate after
10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14.
