Edgar Schwarz, Jr.
City Administrator
20/ltc
According to City Administrator Edgar Schwarz, these two 500 DVA transformers and one
oil circuit breaker were heavily damaged in a fire which broke out about noon on Tuesday.
This equipment had been re-activated the same morning, (they had not been in service for
about 10 months), and had been running for approximately three hours when the fire broke
out. Administrator Schwarz said these units have been taken to San Antonio for repair and to
see exactly what the cause of the fire was.

The Commissioners Court
met at their regular meeting
time on May 11, with all
Commissioners present and
Judge Whitworth presiding.
One of the main items of
interest presented to the
Commissioners was a
presentation by Mr. Don
Frazor of Tapatio Springs.
This is a new multi-million
development that is now
underway on Johns Road.
„LMr. Frazor, the chief
engineer for the project told
the Commissioners that he,
representing Mr. Clyde
Smith, the owner, wanted to
explain the many different
aspects of this new and
exciting development for the
Boerne and Kendall County
area.
An outline of the master
plan was presented to the
Commissioners and this was
to show that all county
ordinances and regulations
are being met. Mr. Frazor
explained that there will be
an 18 hole golf course, a
9-hole golf course, a hotel
convention center (an 11
story complex, with 312
rooms); a clubhouse to serve
both the golf courses, and
scattered throughout the
development will be various
single family dwellings such
as condominiums and town-
houses and private homes. In
the original plan 125
residences were estimated to
be constructed, but the
response has been so great
that new this number should
be between 250-300.
The 18-hole golf course is
now under construction and
