manager of the Texas
Turkey (formerly the Back
Door Saloon) at 123 So. Main,
announced this week that a
live band will be on hand
Thursday night to ring in the
New Year. New Year’s Eve
will feature free beer (while
it lasts) and free party
favors-all for only $2.50 per
person. The fun begins in the
early evening and goes til 2
a.m.

Texas Turkey is open 'every-
day. Hours Monday thru
Thursday are 11 a.m. to 12
midnight. Friday and
Saturday enjoy yourself from
11 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Sunday
from 1 p.m. until 12 mid-
night.
The clean, comfortable
atmoshpere of the Texas
Turkey is sure to make the
Main Street tavern a popular
gathering spot. Lots of free
parking is available in the
rear. You can always enjoy
that favorite TV show or
sporting event on color TV.
Ms. Riesenecker says that
live music will be available
most weekends. “We want to
invite everyone to come visit
us and enjoy your favorite
brew or mixed drink-along
with free popcorn. And don’t
forget ‘Happy Hour’ Monday
through Saturday from 4-7
p.m. with 2 for 1 mix drinks
and beer 50 cents.
