Rites At Golden
For Mrs. Murdock
Mrs. Jewe1 Murdock of Golden
died Friday morning, Dec. 29, in
a Mineola hospital after a brief
illness. Funeral services were
held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30.
in the Golden Baptist Church
with* the Rev. Leroy Roberts of-
ficiating.
Burial in the Raymondville Ce-
metery was under direction of
the Wilson Funeral Home, Alba.
Mrs. Murdock, 74, was a na-
tive of East Texas who had re-
sided in Golden since Murch. She
was a member of the Golden
Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband,
Aubrey Murdock, of Golden; one
son, Wiley B. Davis, of Dalla;
two daughters, Mrs. Mable Price
and Mrs. Billy Faye Flournoy,
both of Houston; two sisters,
Mrs. Pearl Mansell of Abilene
and Mrs. Jimmie Smith of Ne-
vada; six grandchildren, and two
great-grandchildren. -
Pallbearers were Bob Hughes.
