Can Black-Draught
Help an
Upset Stomach?
Yes, Black-Draught may help an upset
stomach if the only reason you have an
upset stomach is because of constipation.
Black-Draught, the friendly laxative, is
usually prompt and thorough when taken
as directed. It costs only a penny or less
a dose. That’s why it has been a best-
seller with four generations. If you are
troubled with such symptoms as loss of
appetite, headache, upset stomach, flatu-
lence, physical fatigue, sleeplessness,
mental haziness, bad breath—and if these
symptoms are due only to constipation—
then see what Black-Draught may do for
you. Cct a package today.

SURPRISE BIRTHDAY
PARTY HONORS MR., MRS.
H. LARSON, LT. ANDERSON
A large group of relatives and
friends comprised the guest list
for the party held at the Henry
Larson home Sunday afternoon,
December 12. The occasion was to
celebrate jointly the birthday of
Mr. and Mrs. Larson and Lt. Carl
Anderson, of Washington, Conn.,
now stationed at Randolph Field,
nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Larson,
who was here for a week-end vis-
it, and was a lovely surprise to
the honorees.
The trio received many lovely
gifts for which they expressed
their appreciation.
During the afternoon a Bap-
tismal ceremony was read by the
Rev. H. Anderson, at which time
Boyd Hartwin Magnuson and
Harvie Edmond Nachlinger were
baptized. Boyd Hartwin is the in-
fant son of Mr. and Mrs. Hartwin
Magnuson, and grandson of Mr.
and Mrs. Henry Larson and Mrs.
Swen Magnuson; and Harvie Ed-
mond, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. A.
Nachlinger, grandson of Mr. and
Mrs. Ed Nachlinger and Mr. and
'Mrs. Harvie Allen, and both are
great-grandsons of Mrs. Anna
Larson. Other great-grandparents
of Harvie Edmond, on his mother’s
side, are Mr. and Mrs. A. De Glan-
don and Mrs. M. E. Allen, of Mc-
Dade.
Decorations throughout the
home were suggestive of the holi-
day season. The lace-covered din-
ing table held as a centerpiece
pink gladioli and baby blue-tinted
daisies accented with blue ribbons
and candles on either side of flor-
al arragement. Two birthday cakes
carried out the color scheme.
