The Sunbeams of East Hender-
son Street Baptist Church met
Wednesday at the church, for a

birthday of the organization.
A large cake with the numbers,
“75” inscribed on it centered the
refreshment table. Dolls dressed
in the costumes of various coun-
tries encircled the cake represent-
ing a “friendship circle’'’ around
the world.
The children played several mis-
sionary games, and as birthday
gifts each brought canned fruit or
juice for shut-ins.
Cake was served following the
singing of “Happy Birthday.”
Those present included Nancy
Horton, Rodney Tribble, Jan Smi-
th, James Horton, Shirley Har-
grove, Suzanne Harris, Kim Gum-
fory, Cindy Snell, Mrs. J. H.
Smith and the leader, Mrs. Wier
Tribble.
