High Cubs were off to a fast
start in the 1958 basketball cam-
paign here Thursday afternoon as
they blasted Daingerfield, 53-30.
The 7th and 8th grade team,
however, dropped its season open-
er to the Daingerfield under-
grads, 18-17 after four tight
quarters of play.
Henry Leftwich was the big
gun for the Cubs, scoring 17
points. Burnise Aiderman hit
eight and Raymond Sedlacek
