America will never lose the Spirit of Freedom. Our people will never
grow soft and complacent. The Spirit of ‘76 still lives in our hearts to-
day as fresh as it was 186 years ago. This paper believes that failure to
fly the flags on homes on national holidays is due, more to lack of oppor-
tunity than to lack of patriotism. That's why we make these fine Flag
kits available to our readers at cost as a public service.
Remember, there are more than 20 national holidays on which our flag
should be flown. Among the most important are Armed Forces Day, Dec-
oration Day, Flag Day and Independence Day,all of which are near.
