Lying almost exactly midway between Gulf,
20 miles south, and Newgulf, 20 miles northeast,
both places owned by the I exas Gulf Sulphur Co.,
to whom this issue of the I ribune is dedicated, Bay
City is most favorably located.
As evidenced in this issue by the numerous
congratulatory advertisements, the relationship,
business and social, between the people of Bay City
and the people of the company has always been
wholesome, cordial, sincere. Our aim will be to
preserve such a splendid attitude.
