Three members of the Schulenburg ISD Shorthorn Band - (from left) senior
Kassidy Kubala, junior Yahaira Guerrero and senior Teagan Faith - have been
selected to the Texas A&M Commerce Honor Band. Students are selected based
on director’s nomination and the students’ academics and musical accomplish-
ments. This is the first time SISD students have been selected for this ensemble.
Students will travel to Commerce in November to rehearse and perform a
concert on the campus of Texas A&M Commerce.
