Byrd. The very young peoples di-
vision formed the lesson. Follow-
ing the study, the rythm band was

resenting, the Educattonal Extension
Service of Ithaca, N. Y.,has organ-
zed a class in leadership , and pub-
lic speaking which will be directed
here by Rev. Glenn C. Hutton, ao-
cording to announcement Friday.
Twenty-five or thirty representa-
tive business and professlonal men
have already enrolled in the class
which will be held twice a month
for six months, the first class to be
some time next week. Mr. Avery
has been in this type of business
for seven years. There are classes
in progress now at Denton. Kings-
Ville, McKinney, Ennis and Waxa-
hachie and about 1,000 classes are
being held in the country with be-
tween 30,000 and 30,000 enrolled. Dr.
Edward Amherst OU is president of
the Educational Extension service,
Inc., and is author of the speaking
course to be used in the class.
