• BROTHERS QUICK-DRYING ENAMEL,
furniture, woodwork, toys, etc., blossom forth
in beauty that is truly magical. This new decorat-
ing material comes in beautiful striking colors
that harmonize with modern trends, but they are
not garish. Then too, it dries quickly—four to
five hours, and is ready for recoating, although
one coat is generally sufficient.
Quick-Drying Enamel is easy to use. It flows
freely and levels out smoothly, leaving no brush
marks, two qualities particularly important to the
one not experienced in painting. You will be
agreeably surprised with the results you can get
with Quick-Drying Enamel.'
Come in—let us give you a Card showing the
range of beautiful colors. •

It’s Steele Tin Shop ys. Hender-
son Street this evening in the Cle-
burne Amateur Baseball League.
Steele is battling tooth and nail to
stay in the race. They still retain
a chance at the first half Cham,
pionship. Should Frigidice or San-
ders Service Station lose a game
Steele might tie for the top.
' Frigidice retained their virtual tie
with Sanders for first place Tues-
day in a 6.2 win over Battery B.
It really was not a bad ball game
and had Doug Looper been given
support and a few hits behind him'
he might have turned back the Ice-
men like he did earlier in the sea-
son.
Hopkins scored on Hill’s single
and Hill tallied on an error in the
first inning to give Frigidice a
lead. The Icemen added three more
in the second on a double by Hud-
gins, triple by Knopp and singles
by Squyres and Brandon. The final
run was made when Lawson, who
work or
A Beaumont and Houston finished
hin a dead heat for the first half
I championship of the Texas League.
' How they'll have to play it off but
[ this will be done in regularly second
half games.
Ability of the Exporters and
Staffs to beat the second division
clubs consistently proved the de-
ciding margin. Fort Worth could nbt
do that though more than holding
I their own with the big boys.
A July 4th baseball game that is
expected to attract several thous-
and people is scheduled between Ar.
mour and Co. of Fort Worth and
Frigidice of the Cleburne Amateur
Baseball League, It was announced
Tuesday evening
The game Saturday will be played
at the city league diamond at Gor-
man Pack and will be between lead-
ing teams of amateur loops in the
two pities. Frigidice is tied'for the
lead in the Cleburne circuit while
Armour won the first half and is
leading the second half in the Fort
Worth Major City League.
"On the” visiting ‘ team will be
Jones, star infielder of the cham-
pionship Schepps club of the Cle.
burne league last season. Jones is
playing second base. Other stars of
the club are Harry Taylor and
Horace Wdilin of T. C. U. fame.
Dutch Meyers of T. C. U., Haas of
Deer Creek and Rube Leitner, for-
mer Texas University hurler. .
Jimmie Hill, manager of Frigidice.
Is getting • together a formidable
club! He will not confine his play-'
ers to the Frigidice team but will
pick up other local stars. .The game
starts at 2 o'clock.
