The Friendswood High School
Drama Department presents the
children's theatre production: The
Emperor’s New Clothes. The
classic children's tale about the too
vain emperor taken in by his own
vanity and love for clothes.
The play is directed by a student
team of senior and junior thespian
officers. They are: Kristian Huff,
president Mindi Holzschuh, vice
president Kim Griffith, secretary
Lori King, historian and Nathan
Raley, scribe.
Sponsor Kathy Powdrell produces
the play and quickly points out, "I
leave all the creative decisions up to
the directing team, down to the set

production items like programs,
scripts, publicity, tickets and other
operational items. Near the end, I
will come in make a few directing
and character suggestions to
