1. This contract is based upon plans and specifications for the improvements which are
herein referred to, which plans and specifications have been signed by the parties to this
contract, and said parties do hereby make said plans and specifications a part of this
deed, and declared that she had willingly signed the same for the purposes and considera-
tion therein expressed, and that she did not wish to retract it.
This Mechanic’s Lien Contract is made between Robert Morris, as contractor, and Ben Lee
Chote and wife, Rosa Catherine Chote, as owners, all of Travis County, Texas, and is as

same for the purposes and consideration therein expressed. And also, before me, on this
day personally appeared Lena Murchison, wife of the said Joe Murchison, known to me to

be the person whose name is subscribed to the foregoing instrument, and having been
examined by me privily and apart from her husband, and having the same fully explained
to her, she, the said Lena Murchison, acknowledged such instrument to be her act and
same property described in deed from S.A, Woolsey to Rosa Catherine Woolsey, a feme sole
(who is now Rosa Catherine Chote, wife of Ben Lee Chote) dated July 6, 1934 and recorded in
Book "507" Pages 24-25 Deed Records of Travis County, Texas, to which said map or plat and
said deed, and the records thereof, reference is here made for further description; and con-
tractor further agrees that he will be responsible for any damage which may occur to said
improvements during their construction and prior to their acceptance by owners from fire,
