PIWENTY years ago there were
I only 6,500,000 telephones in
the United States. Long distance
service was limited. Many com-
munitics were beyond its range.
Today you can reach anyone of
18,500,000 telephones in the United
States. Service is also available to
Cuba, Mexico, Canada, Great
Britain, Holland, Belgium, France,
Germany, Sweden and Denmark
From your telephone you can reach
any one of 25,000,000 telephones,
80 per cent of all the telephones in
the world!
Long distance service now makes
it possible to reach practically any-
one, almost anywhere, any time,
quickly and at a reasonable cost.
