Houston Dry Goods Conpany of
Plainview operating s store here and
another at Dimmitt was merged last
week with 1 other steres la West ,
Texas and Eastern Nsw Mexico late
the Grissom-Robertson Chain of Bun-
rat Stores, incorporated.
The stores included in the mer-
ger besides Carter Houston’s are
Wadley Wilson, Midland, Odessa, and
Pecos; The Joyce Pruitt Stores, Ros
c*e. Carlsbad, Artesia, Hope, Clovis,
and Portale*, New Mexico: the new
Austin-Jones Store at Big Spring;
and the Grissom Store* at Abilene,
Coleman, Quanah, and Vernon. It is
stated that other stores are to eome
into the merger when arrangements
are completed.
