brand cereals
2 cups Rice Chex®
2 cups Corn Chex® covered raisins

2 cups Rice Chex® peanut butter pieces

Preheat oven to 325OF. In a 13x9x2-inch pan, heat
peanut butter and butter in oven 5 minutes, or until
melted; remove.
Stir in seasoned salt. Gradually add cereals and
nuts, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated.
Bake 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Spread
on absorbant paper to cool. Stir in raisings and peanut
butter pieces. Store in airtight container.
Makes 8 cups.
COLACHE
4 cups peeled, diced pumpkin
14 cup oil
1 chopped onion
1 minced garlic clove
1 chopped green pepper
14-ounce can diced green chiles
4 chopped tomatoes, or 114-ounce
can tomatoes, drained
112-ounce can whole kernel corn,
drained
1 teaspoon salt
12 teaspoon black pepper
Preheat oven to 250oF. In open roasting pan, melt
butter in oven. Remove. Stir in seasoned salt and
Worcestershire. Gradually add cereals, nuts and pre-
tzels, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Bake
1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on absorbant
paper to cool. Store in airtight container.
Makes 8 cups.
Microwave directions: In a 4-quart bowl or
13x9x2-inch microwave-safe pan, melt butter on high
for 1 minute. Stir in seasoned salt and Worchester-
shire. Gradually add cereals, nuts and pretzels, stir-
ring until all pieces are evenly coated. Microwave on
high for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.
Spread on absorbant paper to cool. Store in airtight
container.

sugar, cinnamon and allspice. Gradually add cereals,

minutes. Stir in apple and raisins; bake an additional
15 minutes. Spread on waxed paper to cool, and store
in airtight containers.

Butter a 9-inch square pan. In large saucepan over
low heat, met butter. Stir in 1 candy bar and marsh-
mallows. Cook, stirring frequently, until melted and
smooth.
Gradually add cereals, stirring until all pieces are
evenly coated. Stir in remaining candy bar. Press into
pan with back of a buttered spoon. Cool, and cut into
squares.
