Old sister Brown was quick to shout,

Z Announcing what to sing,
I hear their voices lift aloud,
I hear the anthems ring.
They had no sounding thing of brass,
Their voices to sustain.
But the roek-ribbed hills that stood
around.
Echoed that refraia.
The old time songs, they linger yet,
And may they never go,

Mra. Stevenson was one of the
pretties courtesies of the entire
summer season.
A color scheme of pink, yellow and
green was used. Beautiful summer
blossoms in all the shades were
placed here and there in the re-
ception room where the guests
gathered. The luncheon table was
simply elaborate in the appointments.
A pretty pink swann with a profusion
of the fragrant flowers centered the
table. Pinh candles in crystal
holders were- placed at either end.
The place cards were colonial dolls,
holding real flowers ia all the shades.
Places were laid for:
Miss Ruth Pauley, honoree; Misses

Ernestine and Wilda Smith, Misses
Kate and Aileen Crudgington and Miss

Miss Pauley has been named the
