snappy 72-year-old woman, who
addressed a judge as "young

policemen over her knee and
spank them, walked out of traffic
court with an acquittal on negli-

Patrolmen George Rust and G
H. Hammersberg said the defend-

parked in the middle of the street,
made a right turn from a center
lane and drove three blocks on
the wrong side of the street.
"I did not park in the middle

Judge James Demopolos. "I just

I could make a left hand turn into

"While I was sittirg there I
saw this police car go by," she
continued, "He turned around and
drove up behind me. If that isn't
enough to make a body' nervous,
I don't know what will."
She said she changed her mind
then headed for home, but added,
"I didn't drive on the wrong side
of the street.”
"I just sort of stayed over to-
wards the middle of the street so
I could turn into my driveway, my
own driveway, when I got to it.”
Further, Mrs. Little said, the
officers got her ticket all messed
up and stated her age as 63.
“I’m not 63. I'm 72,” she said.
"I have a sister who is 68 and
I'm four years older than she is
and that makes me 72 doe n't it?"
