Demonstration and Agricultural
Councils held their annual meet-
ing at Pickard High School, Bren-
ham, on June 4-5.
Delegates from 28 Texas coun-
ties along with their County Home
Demonstration and County Agricul-
tural Agents were present.
The time of the meeting was,
"Good Family Relations, a Sour-
ce of Strength."
On June 4, the local council pre-
sented a program. Music for the
program was furnished by the
Pickard High School Chorus, and
the Wasington County ' 4-H‛ers.
Rev. L E. Peterson, pastor of the
New Hope. Haptist Church gave
the invocation, while Rev. J. E.
Dennis, pastor of the Mt. Rose

tour of the home and the free din-

Brenham Cotton Mills.
Delegates and agents were much
impressed by the hospitality
shown them by the citizens of
Brenham and Washington County
and overwhelmingly expressed
that they would like to receive an-
other invitation in the future.
