A LOS RESIDENTES CON DERECHO DE VOTAR DEL
DISTRITO ESCOLAR INDEPENDIENTE DE ALLEN:
AVISO de que una eleccion tendra lugar en EL DISTRITO ESCOLAR
INDEPENDIENTE DE ALLEN el da 3 de noviembre de 1990, de acuerdo
con una resolucion aprobada por la Junta Directiva la cual es parte de
este Aviso para todo objeto practice y se lee como sigue:
UNA RESOLUCION ordenando una eleccion para bonos a
tener lugar dentro del Distrito Escolar Independiente de
Allen estableciendo medidas para dirigir la eleccion y
resolviendo otros asuntos incidentes y pertinentes a dicha
eleccion.
VISTO QUE, la Junta Directiva del Distrito Escolar Independiente de
Allen, por este medio llega a saber que se debe llevar a cabo una elec-
cion para determinar si dicho cuerpo gubernativo debera ser autorizado a
emitir bonos de dicho Distrito por un total y con el fin identificados mas
adelante; por consiguiente,
SE RESUELVE POR LA JUNTA DIRECTIVA DEL DISTRITO ESCO-
LAR INDEPENDIENTE DE ALLEN:
SECCION 1: Una eleccion tendra lugar el dia 3 de noviembre de 1990
en el Distrito Escolar Independiente de Allen cuya fecha sea cuarenta y
cinco (45) o mas das despues de la fecha de aprobar esto, y el llevar a
cabo de la eleccion en dicha fecha en vez de la fecha regular para
eleccion es por este medio decidido a ser en el interes del pueblo. En
dicha eleccion, se presentara la siguiente medida:
DEBERA la Junta Directiva del DISTRITO ESCOLAR INDEPEN-
DIENTE de ALLEN del condado de Collin en Texas, ser autorizada a
emitir bonos de dicho Distrito por la cantidad principal de S13,000,000
para la construccion y el equipo de edificios escolares en el Distrito y
la compra para estos de los terrenes necesarios; y seran caucionados
y recaudados, tasados y cobrados anualmente impuestos ad valorem
a toda propiedad imponible en el Distrito suficientes, sin lmite en
cuanto al porcentaje o cantidad, para pagar el principal y el interes de
dichos bonos cuando los mismos venzan; dichos bonos a veneer en
serie e de otro mode, por un periodo a no sobrepasar VEINTE Y
CINCO (25) anos a partir de la fecha, a ser emitidos y vendidos en
una o mas series al precio o precios y a devengar interes al porcenta-
je o porcentajes (fijo, flotante, variable e de otro modo a no sobre-
pasar el porcentaje maximo permitido por la ley al emitir los bonos)
como sea determinado a voluntad de la Junta Directiva?"
SECCION 2: Todo el Distrito formara un recinto electoral para esta
eleccion y la Escuela Primaria Rountree se designa por este medio como
el lugar para votar. Las personas por este medio nombradas para servir
los cargos de oficiales de esta eleccion en dicho lugar para votar seran
las siguientes:

At the Fall registration for AISD Community Education clas-
ses, instructors and volunteers processed about 1,000 peo-
ple. Regular registration was held Tuesday evening at the
Allen High School cafeteria. More than 100 people have
signed up for classes through late registration, which con-
tinues as long as places are available in the classes.
TO THE RESIDENT QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE
ALLEN INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT:
TAKE NOTICE that an election will be held in the ALLEN INDEPEN-
DENT SCHOOL DISTRICT on the 3rd day of November, 1990, in accor-
dance with a resolution adopted by the Board of Trustees which is a part
of this notice for all purposes and reads as follows:
A RESOLUTION ordering a bond election to be held in the Allen
Independent School District, making provision for the
conduct of the election and resolving other matters incident and
related to such election.
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Allen Independent School
District hereby finds that an election should be held to determine whether
said governing body shall be authorized to issue bonds of said District in
the amount and for the purpose hereinafter indentified; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE ALLEN
INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT:
SECTION 1: An election shall be held on the 3rd day of November,
1990, in the Allen Independent School District, which date is forty-five
(45) or more days from the date of the adoption hereof, and the holding of
the election on such date rather than on a uniform election date,is hereby
found to be in the public interest. At such election, the following measure
shall be submitted:
"SHALL the Board of Trustees of the Allen Independent School District
in Collin County, Texas be authorized to issue bonds of the District in the
principal amount of $1 3,000,000 for the construction and equipment of
school buildings in the District and the purchase of the necessary sites
therefor; and shall there be pledged and levied, assessed and collected
annually ad valorem taxes on all taxable property in the District sufficient,
without limit as to rate or amount, to pay the principal of and interest on
said bonds as the same become due; said bonds to mature serially or
otherwise not more than TWENTY-FIVE (25) years from their date, to be
issued in one or more series at any price or prices,and to bear interest at
such rate or rates (fixed, floating, variable or otherwise and not to exceed
the maximum rate permitted by law at the time of issuance of the bonds)
as in its discretion the Board of Trustees shall determine?"
SECTION 2. The entire District shall constitute one election precinct
for this election and Rountree Elementary School is hereby designated
the polling place. The persons hereby appointed to serve as the election
officers at said polling place are as follows:

The Presiding Judge shall appoint not less than two (2) nor more than
four (4) qualified clerks to serve and assist in holding said election; pro-
vided that if the Presiding Judge herein appointed actually serves, the
Alternate Presiding Judge shall be one of the clerks.
On election day the polls shall be open from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.
Mrs. Pat Campbell is hereby appointed the Clerk and Mrs. Kay Ghram
is hereby appointed the Deputy Clerk for absentee voting for said
election, and the Allen Independent School District Administration Office,
200 S. Cedar, Allen, Texas (Mailing Address: P. O. Box 13, Allen, Texas
75002) is hereby designated the place for absentee voting. The hours
designated for absentee voting by personal appearance shall be from
8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. on each day, except Saturdays, Sundays and
official State holidays, during the period required by law for conducting
absentee voting.
For purposes of processing ballots cast in absentee voting, the elec-
tion officers of the aforesaid polling place shall also serve as the absen-
tee ballot board for this election.
SECTION 3: Paper ballots shall be used in this election, which ballots
shall be prepared in accordance with V.T.C.A., Election Code, and permit
electors to vote "FOR" or "AGAINST" the aforesaid measure which shall
appear on the ballot substantially as follows: *
"THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $13,000,000
AND THE LEVYING OF THE TAX IN PAYMENT THEREOF"
SECTION 4: All resident qualified electors of the District shall be per-
mitted to vote at said election. This election shall be held and conducted
in accordance with the V.T.C.A. Election Code, except as modified by the
provisions of the Texas Education Code, and as may be required by law,
all election materials and proceedings shall be printed in both English and
Spanish.
SECTION 5: A substantial copy of this resolution shall serve as proper
notice of said election. Said notice, including a Spanish translation
thereof, shall be published at least one time in a newspaper of general
circulation in said District and the publication of said notice of election
shall occur in said newspaper not more than thirty (30) days and not less
than ten (10) days before the day of the election.
PASSED AND APPROVED, this the 17th day of September, 1990.

istracion del Distrito Escolar Independiente de Allen, 200 S. Cedar, Allen,
Texas (Correo: P.O. Box 13, Allen, Texas) se designa por este medio
como el lugar para registrar los votos en ausencia en dicha eleccion. De
acuerdo al periodo del voto en ausencia permitido por la ley, las horas
nombradas para registrar los votos en ausencia hechos en persona seran
desde las 8:00 de la maana hasta las 4:00 de la tarde todos los dias con
la excepcion de los sabados, domingos y los dias de fiesta oficial del
Estado.
Con el fin de revisar balotas dadas en votos hechos en ausencia, los
oficiales electorales del antedicho lugar para votar tambien servirn como
Junta para balotas en ausencia de esta eleccion.
SECCION 3: Se emplearan balotas electorales de papel en dicha elec-
cion y se prepararan las cuales balotas de acuerdo con el Codigo de
Elecciones, V.T.C.A. de manera de permitir a los electores votar "EN
PRO" o "EN CONTRA" a la antedicha medida que presentara basica-
mente de la siguiente forma en la balota:
"LA EMISION DE BONOS POR UN TOTAL DE ’13,000,000 Y EL
GRAVAMEN DE LOS IMPUESTOS EN PAGO DE ESTO"
SECCION 4: A todos los residentes con derecho de votar del Distrito
se les permitira votar en dicha eleccion. Se lievara a cabo esta eleccin y
esta eleccion tendra lugar de acuerdo con las estipulaciones del Codigo
de Elecciones V.T.C.A. fuera de las modificaciones hechas por las estip-
ulaciones en el Codigo de Educacion de Texas; y como pueda ser re-
querido por la ley, se imprimiran los materiales de la eleccion y los pro-
cedimientos para esta eleccion tanto en ingles como en espaol.
SECCION 5: Una copia fidedigna de esta resolucion servira como avi-
so adecuado de dicha eleccion. Se fijara dicho aviso, incluyendo una
traduccion al espanol de esto, al menos una vez en al periodico de circu-
lacion general en dicho Distrito y la publicacion de dicho aviso de eleccion
ocurrira en dicho periodico no mas que treinta (30) dias ni menos que
diez (10) dias antes del dia de eleccion.
