AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - The
Secretary of State’s office is
trying to straighten out a num-
ber of Texas counties on what
local races will be on the ballot
in this year's elections
"There’s no investigation or
anything like that,” said
Charles Seltzer of the elections
division, "but we are working
with them in certification of the
positions on the ballot " Seltzer
said the state constitution spec-
