James Earl Ray, handcuffed and heavily guarded, was
taken to a Memphis jail after being flown to the Memphis
Naval Air Station from England. Ray now will await trial on a
charge of killing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
...The Cambodian navy was reported to have seized an
American patrol boat in the Mekong Delta and arrested 11
Americans and one South Vietnamese aboard.
-Specially equipped Navy vessels continue to search for the
lost nuclear submarine Scorpion, which sent its last radio
message May 21 from an area 250 miles south of the Azores. The
sub carried a crew of 99.
