Brownwood’s finest moments this
season have come on the road, and the
Lions’ ability to play on foreign grass
will be put to the test one more Friday
night this week when they play Marlin
for the District 11-AAA championship
on the Bulldogs' home field.
Brownwood, which has lost almost
every pre-game coin flip this season,
dropped another toss at Gatesville
Saturday morning when officials from
the two zone championship schools met
to map district playoff plans.
Marlin won the right to host the 7:30
p.m. game which will qualify the win-
ner for a bi-district date with 12-AAA
representative Belton in two weeks.
