Several residents of Red River
Haven accompanied by staff
members, traveled to Gilmer Satur-
day. Sept 20 to compete with other
nursing home residents in the 1986
Senior Games.
Those residents competing were
Janie Davis, Ladies 50 Yd. Walk;
Casey York, Men's 50 Yd. Walk; Fred
Clifton and Robert Bearden, 42 Tour
nament; and Mrs. Oma Gatlin,
though unable to attend, entered
several craft items and a quilt top.
Casey york placed second in the 50
yard walk, Fred Clifton and Robert
Bearden won two out of three games
in the 42 tournament, and OmaGatlin
won second place with her 6top
Participation ribbons were
presented to those competing in the
contests and medallions were given to
the winners.
